Making people feel that they belong and are included in an organization comes down to leadership. This theme is the focus of an article by Juliet Bourke and Andrea Espedido of Human Capital, Deloitte Australia. The authors stress that inclusive leadership is critical to the success of corporations and organizations. Previous research conducted by the authors, identifies that inclusive leaders share a cluster of six signature traits including visible commitment, humility, awareness of bias, curiosity about others, cultural intelligence, and effective collaboration.
