Small businesses are discovering the benefits of championing diversity, equity and inclusion in their business and marketing strategies. To support theses ongoing efforts Kristen McCormick of WordStream by LOCALiQ has compiled a list of DEI resources for small business including marketing toolkits, checklists, and sample testimonials. Some of the resources include:

• Google Inclusive Marketing Toolkit: This toolkit has all the standard components to incorporate inclusivity into marketing, hiring and company culture.

• SHRM’s DEI Policy Template: The Society for Human Resource Management has a diversity, equity, and inclusion policy template that can be adapted for small businesses.

• LinkedIn’s Inclusive Language for Marketers Pocket Guide: This resource features different forms of inclusive language, tips to stay inclusive with your language and common exclusionary language and inclusive alternatives.
