Since its inception in 1990, the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) has been committed to its mission, that is, “to maximize the inclusive and sustainable growth potential of the Travel and Tourism sector by partnering with governments, destinations, communities, and other stakeholders to drive economic development, create jobs, reduce poverty and foster peace, security, and understanding in our world.”

In collaboration with leading organizations, including Hilton, Airbnb and Accessible Travel Solutions, the WTTC published its Inclusive and Accessible Travel Guidelines in May 2021. The guidelines focus on:

• Developing an Inclusive & Accessible System

• Creating Safe Spaces

• Designing an Engaging & Relevant System

• Exemplifying Inclusion & Accessibility
