What’s New: Proven Inclusive Education Strategies

In the article, 4 Proven Inclusive Education Strategies for Educators, featured on the University of San Diego website by author Joseph Latham, PhD reminds us “Inclusive Learning provides all students with access to  flexible learning choices and effective paths for achieving educational goals in spaces where they experience a sense of belonging.”  Latham addresses important strategies to consider when designing an inclusive classroom and curriculum including:

  • use universal design principles to create accessible classrooms

  • use a variety of instructional formats

  • develop a behaviour management plan
