What’s New: Accessible Parks and Trails

Thinking about a summer getaway?  Have you checked out the accessibility and inclusivity of the provincial parks and trails in Ontario and National Parks across Canada?

The Parks Canada website outlines the accessibility features of national parks. There is a profile of each national park that includes information on accessibility features including the availability of accessible parking, picnic tables and washrooms, wheelchair friendly ramp access, all-terrain wheelchair and beach wheelchair rentals, and accessible campsites.

The Ontario Parks website describes the accessible facilities, campgrounds and trails in the Province of Ontario.
