What’s New: LEGO Braille Bricks

The LEGO Braille Bricks have been to help children living with sight loss to develop tactile skills and learn the braille system. The bricks are molded so that the studs on top reflect individual letters and numbers in the Braille alphabet while remaining fully compatible with the LEGO System in Play. The bricks also feature printed letters, numbers, and symbols so that they can be used simultaneously by classmates in a collaborative and inclusive way. The LEGO Foundation is providing the kits free of charge to schools and organizations that serve children who are blind or partially sighted. To register to receive a kit contact the CNIB at https://frontier-cnib.ca/products/lego.php

For more information and for games you can play with the blocks, visit the LEGO Braille Bricks website.
