What’s New: Advocating for Disability Justice

The Institute for Disability and Rehabilitation Research (IDRR) of Ontario Tech University is hosting a series of virtual international forums, bringing leading experts together to help find answers and propose new directions. The series, Advocates Assembly: Disability Research from the Ground Up, asks disability justice activists and disability-centered service providers how to frame the future of disability and rehabilitation research. The next session in this series is Advocating for Disability Justice on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.(EST). There is no cost to attend this session however participants must register in advance. 

IDRR is a research hub that investigates issues related to disability and rehabilitation from the perspective of the health sciences and the social sciences and humanities. The vision of IDRR is to be a global leader in creating and disseminating knowledge to improve the quality of life and well-being of people with disability, and in need of rehabilitation services.
